We live on the Aldershot-Farnham border with classes based in our home studio or larger courses and events are also held at gallery venues locally.

We hold various well-being and coaching certifications and we love exploring positive mental heath with clients through expressive and creative arts; painting, clay work, crafting, poetry, journaling and performance as well as teaching.

                                                           .......................................

Bev has been a teacher (QTS) since 1998, and was a headteacher for 16 years before retiring from the profession. She still enjoys working with schools through workshops and events, as well as supporting children, and adults with anxiety, through confidence / mental health coaching. She still sometimes works in SEND and inspection consultancy. She can also provide tuition from 5 to GCSE in art, maths, English and science. She has additional training at post graduate level in EYFS, SEND. She is a fully qualified mindfulness and meditation teacher, CBT coach, Christian coach, menopause coach, baby massage teacher and family support worker - areas which she loves to combine with the arts.

She takes commissions alongside surface design and  illustration work. As a mixed-media artist she often combines 3D elements, or different media. Although painting and prints are dear to her heart, she really enjoys commissions in silk, leather or their vegan alternatives. She is able to teach a variety of heritage crafted elements associated with Waldorf and Nordic education such as whittling, leather craft, printing, silk, felt craft and embroidery. She also enjoys the privilege of working with families through wedding day and event art; silks, wedding fans, bodice painting, Christening gowns as well as painting parties for hen nights and baby showers.

Bev also has a love of heritage fashion and art. She regularly gives talks on Victorian and 1920s fashion, Tudor portraits with a special interest in Elizabethan propaganda, and Celtic Christian crosses. She loves working with local interest groups, talking to different associations.

James works in electrical project managing but also creates beautiful objects such as lamps, tables and bars from reclaimed and re-purposed objects. He loves to take industrial machinery or unusual finds and turn it into tables, work stations and bars. Their own lovely library and 1930s bar, where they also host themed courses, were both hand crafted by him!

They have both travelled extensively through nordic countries and try to create elements of calm, cosy hygge in their art, classes and work. Hygge has become an important philosophy in their lives and they have taken time out to travel, home educate and cherish a simpler, calmer existance at various points in their lives.
